Something about after Tate (2022.2.1)

The designer said in this installation, when people move around, the light and shadow could changed from the different angles of viewers.

This installation reminds me of the installation that I done in Unit 1. This is a color installation. We need to do an installation to connect two rooms, it kinda likes a corridor.

The installation has two directions of pieces, and each piece has two sides. I painted one side in one color, so there are four sides in total. Like, if we stand on the one side of the installation and see from this, like image 3 below, you can see the pink colors.

But if you stand on the another side of it, and see from this spot, there are total different colors than the pink side. And with your movement from one side to another side, the colors you see could change along this way. Which is quite similar with the Venetian blinds installation.

All in all, what I wanted to express by this color installation is that, one stuff could have different sides or angles. Like the color installation, some people said the color them saw is pink, the other people may say what them saw is green. Them both right, because the two color are both painted in the installation. There is no need the argue an absolute agreement on one thing, maybe it does have totally different contrast.
